This weekend is ARRL field day! The Anoka County Radio Club will be operating the contest from the Laurie Lamotte Park in Centerville, MN. We plan to operate three HF stations – one voice, one digital, and one CW (morse code). If you’re interested and in the area, please stop by!
On Saturday at 6:00 PM there will be our traditional pot-luck meal of hot dogs and whatever you bring!
We are also still in need of operators.
Contest rules also allow club members to operate from their homes and contribute towards the clubs overall score (using their own callsigns). If you do this, just select “Anoka County Radio Club” from the list of clubs when you submit your score.
While the contest is operating, our participation portal will show the current scores of all club members as well as the score from the main Field Day site. If you’ve done ACRC club contests remotely before, your callsign is already included. If this is your first contest being done remotely, send an email to n0tjn@anokaradio.org including your callsign to be added.
There is also a discord chat for members to message each other during the contest. The invitation link is also on the contest portal. There are also discord channels for other ham-radio-interest topics, other than contests.
